The Role

Our Edinburgh Hair Centre is recruiting for an experienced Receptionist who is naturally personable, warm and welcoming. An excellent communicator, you will be our front of house representative and the first port of call for our valued clients and visitors. You will be truly customer focused and will dedicate yourself to maintaining our first-class reputation in hair loss.

As our new Receptionist, you will also support our busy office team with general administrative tasks showing strong organisation skills and excellent time management. Full training will be provided on all relevant administrative processes, setting you up to succeed.

Recently relocated to Orchard Brae House in the heart of Edinburgh, our stunning new Hair Centre offers our valued clients our excellent services in a deluxe and serene environment.

Responsibilities

  • Warmly greeting clients upon their arrival, consistently displaying courtesy & discretion
  • Assisting the Office team with their workload, adopting a ‘nothing is too much trouble’ attitude
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments via the salon CRM system, phone & e mail queries and salon WhatsApp, maintaining detailed and accurate client records
  • Competently informing clients about all in house and web-based services, products and offers
  • General office administration
  • Accurate payment processing
  • Stock control including regular stock counts, ordering and transfers

Skills/Experience

  • Minimum 2 years receptionist experience essential
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in office administration essential
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Full Time, x2 roles available – Working 2 Saturdays in every 4

The Role

 

We are looking for an established hair stylist who is ready to go in an exciting new direction. Recently relocated to Orchard Brae House, our Edinburgh Hair Centre is a luxury salon where our stylists offer their specialised skills to clients who have lost their hair due to alopecia, chemotherapy, radiotherapy or through naturally thinning hair loss.

 

Our promise is that we will enable you to deliver the same exceptional services through offering you full training. You will not only receive 121 training from our highly experienced stylists but you will also attend all Aderans training sessions delivered by our Technical Manager. You will learn how to cut, style and colour both ready to wear and human hair wigs and hair pieces. In our introduction to men’s hair replacement training, you will learn how to design, fit and style our exclusive hair replacement systems.

 

In return, we need a promise from you that you will deliver outstanding client care, focusing on uplifting our clients and boosting their confidence by expertly disguising existing hair loss or preventing further loss.

Full training provided – role responsibilities

  • Fitting, cutting, colouring & styling of wigs, hair systems and client’s own hair for men, women and children
  • Delivering a 5* client experience in private consultations, tailoring the approach to meet the individual needs of the client
  • Promoting high quality after care products that educate your client so they can enhance the life span of their wigs & hair pieces
  • Competently informing clients about all in house and web-based services, products and offers
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments via the salon CRM system, phone & e mail queries and salon WhatsApp, maintaining detailed and accurate client data records
  • Supporting salon management with general office admin as and when required

Skills/Experience

  • Hair stylist with NVQ qualifications level 2+ as a minimum or equivalent
  • An experienced stylist in cutting and colouring women’s’ hair
  • Barbering experience desirable but not essential as full training provided
  • Experience within the hair loss industry an advantage but not essential as full training provided

  • Immediate start; 9 am to 5 pm, week 1 Monday- Friday, week 2, Tuesday to Saturday
